It all started more than sixty years ago when we set down roots in this paradise corner of the Island of Elba, where nature embraces anyone who arrives and seems to whisper: stop, here time moves at a different pace. Our idea of vacation was born from this: the desire to share with you what is essential for us.
The scent of sea air in the morning, the silence that envelops the houses at sunset, conversations under the stars, the colors of the earth, the genuine flavors of a table set with love, and the sound of the dishes before preparing the meal. It’s a way of life we learned from our grandparents, which we pass down to our children and hope it brings you the same sense of well-being.

1961
It all began on May 25, 1961: Tallinucci Camping opens its doors on the beach of Lacona thanks to the initiative of Giuseppe and Andreina.

1968
Their son Nilo and his wife Christine take over the management, while also building the apartments in the “Geranio” complex.

1973
New ideas and spaces: Nilo and Christine complete the “Girasole” complex and welcome their daughter Valeria in 1976. Meanwhile, Lido and Manuela join the family and management.

1981
Ilaria is born, and the following year, Michele, Lido and Manuela’s children. The “Ginestra” and “Ginepro” complexes are built, and the first environmental projects are embraced through the use of solar panels.

1988
An area dedicated to children is created, reinforcing the campground’s identity as a family-friendly place.

1995
The 90s bring innovation and sustainability: the entire sanitation complex is renewed, and the first important environmental recognitions arrive. In 1995, Matteo, the youngest child of Lido and Manuela, is born.

1996
The “Il Cantone” apartments are completed, and the first guided hikes along the trails of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park are organized. -
2005
We acquired the “Giunco” apartments and began the renovation of the “Geranio” apartments, completed in 2008.

2008
The acility is expanded with a new reception and ecological systems. The second generation—Valeria, Ilaria, and Michele—takes the lead, maintaining the family spirit. With Lara and Jacopo, the first children of Valeria and Ilaria, the new generation grows while the campground is enriched with experiences: moonlit walks, boat trips, thematic weeks, and moments of relaxation.

2010
We decide to offer even more opportunities for our guests to socialize: a barbecue area for outdoor meals and a fitness corner in nature, to exercise while breathing fresh air, are created.

2012
Our family expands: Anna, the second child of Valeria, is born.

2016
We inaugurated the bocce court and the new playground, in the heart of Tallinucci Camping.

2018
Nature calls, and we respond: we create a botanical garden, a bike wash station for guests who love exploring the island of Elba on two wheels, and a maintenance shed.

2019
A new addition to the family: welcome Edoardo, the second child of Ilaria.

2020
A year of great renovations. The campground’s sanitation facilities are completely renovated to offer our guests even more comfortable environments. But we didn’t stop there: the following year, in 2021, we installed the first two mobile homes, expanding our accommodation options with new and practical solutions.

2021
It’s birthday time, a big one: the Tallinucci Camping and Apartments is turning 60. Six decades of hospitality, unforgettable vacations and shared stories.

2023-2024
Michele, with his wife, gives birth to Ludovica and Matilde. And now, the question we are all asking is, who will be the next Tallinucci to bring joy and newness to our big family?
